About Mathea grew up in Ithaca, New York and is currently a junior Cinema and Photography and Art History double major at Ithaca College. She has interned in New York City for photographers Mary Ellen Mark, Greg Kadel and Pamela Hanson and for the image syndication company, Trunk Archive. While interning, she had the opportunity to assist on shoots for clients such as Numero, Victorias Secret, British Glamour, The Limited, Liz Claiborne, Bullett Magazine, and for the USA Network.
